false... my current battery is only 25Ah if that and running 500wrms daily it's never been left without enough juice to start. At first I wasn't sure but I measured my voltage before starting a few times and it's always been close to 13Volts.

your battery doesn't matter when your alternator can easily handle the load.

you are wanting to run more than your alternator can handle which is a completely different situation. it means you will ALWAYS be draining your battery and never charging it because your alternators power is being used all the time+some from your battery.

no recharge=just a matter of time until your battery is dead.

Problem with that is that I don't listen to test tones all day, the music doesn't constantly drain 90 amps as it's transient, only when the 0db bass hits does it draw that much. So I figure it has plenty of time in between to recharge, having said that I also listen to a fair bit of music which only has the added bass here and there to add depth to music but not rattle your ear drums.

Something else which probably helps me is I generally stop playing loud bass within maybe 5-10 minutes of parking my car, just because I don't want people to know what's in my trunk when it's parked.

you don't need it to constantly drawn 90 amps. your car even being an old model will draw 20-30 amps normally, your alternator peaks at 85 which means its idle is probably more around 50 amps.

on average your amplifier will only need to use 60 amps of power+cars normal amperage useage to start eating into your battery. everytime you are stopped it eats in faster and everytime your amp draws more than 60 amps its progresses as well.

in short you actually won't get much time actually charging the battery while the amp is doing any work. the only time you will have to charge it is when the subs aren't being used.

just curious here, where would the car be drawing 20-30 amps without music?
Radiator fan is all I can think electrical running when the car is on... edit(during the day)

basic engine functions require power. spark plugs,sensors,engine management,blower motor for a/c or heater for example will all use power.

spark plugs wouldn't draw much and are very high voltage so low current, this car doesn't have a/c and I never use the heater because I live in the tropics, fuel sensor is broken, other sensors would use very minimal power, and by engine management if you mean the ECU this car doesn't have one.
I'm really tempted to buy a clamp meter and find out, because I seriously doubt this car without music could really draw 30 amps.

it would figure it to be around 20 amps more than 30 without the blower motor.

you also have the fuel pump and the rest of the ignition system to deal with to.

i'll have to ask around a bit more, I've asked on a few other forums (actual audio forums not like jsp lol) as well and this is the first time I've been told it wouldn't work.

My fuel pump isn't electrical either FYI

ya forgot it was carbed so ya its probably mechanical lol.

holy christ your car is basic as they get lol.

if you keep idling to a minimum you probably won't have issues during the day. headlights may be an issue still.
