If you go with the Fi Q, make sure to add the high QTS option if you are running it sealed.

Terrible idea the kickers do 2800+ @ 2ohms which is way more efficient and are also 1 ohm capable if your electrical can handle it... The AQ2200D is good but nothing compared to a ZX2500.1D not even close.

Nearly positive the zx 2500.1 can only be ran 2 ohm or higher?

Nearly 100% positive if you wire it to 1ohm it'll fry or go in protection mode.

Edit: Yeah the sx series amps are the only 1 ohm stable kicker amps.

bro I ran a ZX1500.1D @ 1 ohm for nearly a year on 2 L7 12's with stock electrical, the ZX2500.1 will easily do 1 ohm with proper electrical, why the hell would you want 2200@ 1 ohm anyways when you can get 2800 @ 2 ohms and be way more efficient? Just a stupid move imo and the ZX2500.1D is worth about twice as much as the AQ2200.

Theres a reason MRP and ZX amplifiers are 2 ohms under-rated because that's fucking BEAST mode. I'm honestly thinking of selling my DC 1.2K for an MRP2000 they do 2500 @ 2ohms D:

clamped an aq 2200 at .5 at 2800 watts rising to 1.5. Both amps are good but box rise isnt linear i dont know how kicker amps preform, if you wired to two ohms you would be rising ridiculously high i think the aq would give more power.

the electrical required to run an AQ2200 @ .5 with 2800 draw would be rediculous compared to a ZX2500.1 @ 2 ohms also 2500's have been clamped @ 2.5ohm from 2 ohm doing nearly 2800w so the Kicker wins hands down.

also I've never seen a AQ2200D clamped doing 2800w without clipping especially rising to 1.5ohm , I would like a video or I can't allow myself to believe this. DC and Sundown dont even do that much over rated D:

This guy clamped his AQ2200's (he has 2) @ .5 ohm with 3.3 rise (thats 1.6ohm per amp) and only got them doing 4k @ 12.7v (they do rated @ around 13v with minimal clipping.)

Probably in a sealed box too.

I just want something that'll hit pretty decent but have good sql. It's just a dd.

SA-8's will take the power better... Fi Q will sound better in a sealed box, take it as you may and use what you want I'm just sayin a AQ3500D is more in comparison with a KX2500.1D on terms of what they can do @ what ohm with minimal electrical upgrades.

It's a zx not kx btw, but I think I am going with the Fi Q, I would get an aq3500D but can't afford that lol. Well I could afford it but I just want an ez setup for my dd all I need is mids.
