Lol the W7s aren't anything amazing either, way overpriced for what they are. I would take one of my VVX 10s over a jl w7 10 any day.

I hope you are referring to the VVX being better price wise because the W7 would slam all over a SKAR VVX 10,12 or 15 lol... Bottomless Excursion, Sweet Look, Awesome SQ and 1600+rms power handling? Yeah for the price they suck but W7's are sex imo. Also Pioneer Premiers are AWESOME subwoofers and champion premiers are sick nasty, actually used to run 2 premiers 10's sealed and hit a 140 off 400w. To be honest I'd pick a Pioneer Premier over a VVX price/performance all day since a 12" is $40 cheaper than a VVX 10" with similar power handling.

Not trying to start a fight or anything but Uber you seem a little mistaken by Pioneer product the Premiers are VERY good subwoofers like twice as good as Type R's or CVR's for the same price.

anyways OP for around $50 I recommend these:

http://www.amazon.com/Lanzar-MAXP154D-2000-Watt-Small-Enclosure-Subwoofer/dp/B000O3XT4W

Lanzar is a decent company as best yes I know... but still more reputable then most, these Max Pro's will take upwards of 600rms all day and hit lows EXTREMELY WELL, they weight about 26lb's which is massive and only cost $50 for a 15"!
I've heard a lot of good things about the Max Pro's for the price I know a few heavy hitters than run 4 15's off 2400w and the lows are DEEP. Trust me on this for $50 you WONT find a better subwoofer.

The w7 is a 1000rms woofer, not 1600. I don't see one lasting long on 1600 rms. It has better SQ than my VVX but the VVX beats it in output hands down. I've heard W7 setups and they don't even compare to my VVX 10 in terms of loudness. I don't see myself spending $500 on a sub that handles 1000 rms when I can spend $480 on four VVX 10s and run 4k watts to them...

And Kicker CVRs are garbage and Type Rs are okay. Pioneer makes good cd decks but thats about it. Their subs and amps aren't that great.

Those lanzars say 21 lbs shipping; one of my 10s is heavier than that. For $50 you are getting cheap build quality and just a complete garbage sub. I wouldn't buy anything Lanzar but to each their own I guess

Not trying to pick fights but I'm going from personal experience. But it's mainly based on the install

Think what you want 2 w7's would slam on your vvx's and handle more power, you're just being brand loyal SKAR is a Sundown knockoff I love them but Obsidian is better. Pioneer Premiers are great subwoofers and anyone who disagree's have never heard htem properly installed. I don't like JL nor do I accept their prices hence why I run DC but even I know SKAR VVX's won't do nearly 2k each.

Also those lanzars have been tested by guys that make both of our systems look shit and they have said the low end and power handling is pretty impressive and tested better than CVR's and Type R's so why do you argue on something you don't know about? Sorry but I trust the experience of guys that hit 160db daily over someone who's running VVX 10's on a Brutus 2k.

The shop here in town sells JL Audio and they even say the subs are 1000 RMS and don't recommend running higher than that. W7s are good subs, don't get me wrong, but my VVXs have them beat in output.

You're comparing the Lanzars to shit subs lol, Kicker CVRs aren't good subs to begin with.

Also Jacob helped with the VVX lines but they are COMPLETELY different woofers, even Jacob has said so himself.

And I'm not nuthugging skar, I could list about 10 other subs that I would take over the W7 for a fraction of the price. I only went with skar cause of the package deal. I'm saving up for a pair of SSA Xcon 10s and getting another BRZ and strapping them :), these skars are just to hold me over since my last setup was stolen from my house. If Sundown/DD/DC...etc had done this package deal, I would have went with them...If JL would have done it with the w7s, I wouldn't buy it cause theres way better for less...

Edit

I guess you are referring to the AE because those are 1500 rms woofers, I was talking about just a W7, which are only 1000 RMS.

I'm comparing $50 subs to $120 subs that get outperformed hands down, that's my point for $50 the Lanzar Max's are awesome why do you speak on stuff that you've never ran like you know?... and think what you want I honestly don't care I've seen 3200rms to 2 JL13w7's daily and they would rock the shit outta ur vvx's all day long so w/e bro im not gonna keep repeating myself. and yes you're right they are completely different than SA's in that SA's would shit on SKAR VVX 12's.

and yes I am referring to the AE's that are 1500rms heh what else would I be referring to? I also think the 1000w version would rip on VVX's too.

Point is you're wrong about VVX's you're wrong bout W7's and you're wrong about Premiers, I've seen and ran all 3 and the VVX's are nice but I'd prefer SA's to be honest or Obsidians for the price... People have ran 2k per VVX but only in bursts you'll never see more than 1k to them each daily without them getting stinky. The Max Pro's are INCREDIBLE for the price they beat subwoofers costing 3x as much.

I'm not bagging like I said I like VVX's they are incredible little woofers but they're not beating W7's anytime soon heh... Hell my DC Level 3's with 4 soft parts can't even touch a w7 and imo they are better than vvx's.

Like I said think what you want if ur that curtain about your claims then run VVX's and throw 4k to them prove the haters wrong... I'm just saying I'm no noob off the street I know what all of these subs are capable off lol and from your video of those VVX's that I've seen off 2100w those JL's would put em to shame D:

I'm just going by the 10w7 setups i've heard and my vvx 10s were louder

I see videos of people doing 149s who have a little more flex than me, but flex doesn't mean anything really expect how strong/poorly your car is built, plus flex is a bad thing anyway.

Im not trying to start a whole huge argument, I'm just going by personal experiences.

I wouldn't run 4k to the pair, they may be good but they're not that badass...only a 2.5" coil. I'll way til I get my xcons before I do that haha

nah no arguments here we just have different experiences but the big difference is i dont really call the kettle black unless it's lol Max Pro's should be priced at $100 or more trust me they're decent, Premiers are one of my favorite mainsteam subwoofers I've always liked them I used to use them they take power well and have great sound, just personal experiences you know...

Like you said we know what subwoofers are capable of I don't like JL the w7 price was isn't shit compared to a VVX since you can get 2-3 for the same price, im just saying if they WERE the same price the w7 is a lot better hand down. I've seen people hit a 151 with 1 SA-8 doesn't really mean much to be honest, depends on the setup and if it's daily that means a lot. Flex is a bad thing but no car is built to withstand power/subs like that in a box like that... I'm sure your car is no pos compared to my jeep which is old but my jeep is 100% metal and I've matted it and foamed it and it still flexes horribly. I'm not saying your shits not loud haha I bet it's it has to be im just saying I think it could be A LOT louder if you face them forward and seal them my friend gained almost 4db doing this which is A LOT going from a 141 to a 146.

JL 8W7 is known as the best sounding 8" sub around.

Figured id just point that out. I do agree on the price though.

We already told you in your last thread. You're better off waiting a little longer and saving up a little more money.
