i can unhook then all and they still work through the RCA???

If you're using an amp to push your speakers the speaker outputs on your HU aren't pushing anything correct? if your door speakers are ran off RCA's and amp then you don't need them lol.

This makes sense but i always hooked them up anyways because of the fact that your always instructed to, and can sometimes cause problems if you don't.
However if i dont need them hooked up, ill cut them now but i want to be sure im not snipping for no reason.

BTW i only currently have 1 RCA set going to my 4ch amp, and not 2 like some (not sure if it even maters though because the amp allowed it to use just 1 and still use all 4 ch's)

Should still be fine. All of your speakers are ran off the amp tho correct?

Correct, they are all wired like this, except i bought the better Rubicon series 600 amp instead ;P

You're fine then. I'm buying all new speakers when I get my truck back Did you replace the 4x10's or just unhook them?

na i took unhooked them and i have custom box's for the 6x9's

I think I'm just gonna unhook my 4x10's, buy some 6.5 components and some decent 4x6 plates ( 4 inch round with tweeter) and a matching 4 channel amp to my sub amp and a new HU and call it a day

the 6x9's are component with a like 3x3 tweeter and a 1x1 tweeter built in
They scream bloody hell

Yeah but I wanna keep everything clean, I don't want anymore stuff than I have to have honestly. The only thing I have visible in my setup is my subs/box, wires and amps and cap are hidden 100%
