The only reason I say that is because most likely you arent going to see the power that you want from the amp. If you ran them at 4 ohms, which would probably sound a bit better, yea you wouldnt be powering them fully, but you have to remember, you'd also be removing 4 speakers which would give you more power. Speakers are better to run at 4 ohm than 2 or 1.

Buuut, might I suggest getting crossovers for the mid range/tweeter combination?

That diagram is correct and will work fine, you'd be suprised what you can get away with, with ohm loads.

dropping to 2ohms usually doesnt affect the speaker itself in anyway, its just the resistance from the power going to the amp, which allows more power the speaker, which makes it slightly better quality+loudness

Actually it does... going from 4 to 2 you lose a ton of efficiency in the amplifier usually and causes more s/n ratio and distortion. 2 ohm is a lot harder on your system and not as clean, but if you do it right it's not audable.

put it this way
it was as hot as a stove top minutes after you cook something, so you get 1 second max before your finger burns

this was on the heat sink bars on top of the amp, but everwhere else was almost as hot but not quiet.

my hk4000 running at 1ohm never gets over 120 on daily use and ofc when i slam it raises

just seems wierd.
