IF I had to pay $90 for a harness I would just bypass it anyways...

newer cars tend to rape you like that. i always expect $300 just in dash kit+wiring harness these days.

Really? I've done a lot of recent installs on newer vehicles and never paid nearly that for a harness... That's weird. Not saying you're wrong or anything but what vehicles tend to have expensive harnesses?

There's usually one with the factory dinger and shit that's like $90 and one that's just a basic connection and none of the bells and whistles the factory cd player had. at least that is the way it was with my friends Colorado

new gm models especially on star models always run the $90-150 range on harnesses
the dash kit issue is mostly for double din units. some of the dash kits are incredibly elaborate lol.

huh I guess so lol oh well so far I guess no crazy requirements needed for my installs lucky me :-p but yeah like I said I'd just bypass it reqaurdless 90-150$ for some wiring is bs.

I suppose so, if it was for a customer then I'd do whatever they want to do with their budget, I'm speaking on my own preference. I don't buy new cars tho.

Its usually just newer GM/Chevy's. Some new Dodges are like that too.

New Mercedes have Fiber Optic antenna's, which can be a pain in the ass as well.
