thus the yellowtops. they are built to take massive punishment as well as being deep cycle. they run race cars with no alternators off of them. i didnt even notice i killed my 200 amp alternator for 3 days.
now i have a neat little multi meter setup i kinda stole the idea from EXOcontralto. It saves alot of time as far as when i need to charge ect.

batteries are strictly back up power sources. if your amplifier already uses up all your alternators ability then they aren't getting charged. once you start drawing from the red tops you will have problems because they are designed for short burst usage not long term draw.

red tops are strictly for starting purposes there is no way around it.

I was told the setup i have atm is fine ( with some exceptions to changing the one up front to match) by a member in DB unit who has built 10+ nationally ranked systems and such.

This is also the person who helped with the overall build, so Im pretty confident everything is well.

I need a AGM charger, but it doesn't mater how big of one it is? Like would a smaller one burn out by charging too many batteries in parallel?

I made sure getting red tops was not a dumb idea before doing so. And i made sure that i didn't buy Startup batteries that would just be able to start something up.

Thus why i made the purchase on reds instead of blue or yellows

stop buying reds. put a yellow up front so if u do get drained u can atleast get a jump. i kid u not when reds are drained they do not come back, cannot be jumped cannot be charged.

its not spam. if you are using more power than your alternator produces you then start sucking on the batteries. once this starts you will have voltage drop issues and once you drop a red top below 8 volts its pretty well damaged.

Sorry bro, not trying to spam. As far as charging battery banks go i would just rotate on a trickle which battery u charge. This should prevent having a bad egg slip by and over working the others as well. how do you have the bank setup? with cable or a bar?
Oh and get a battery isolator if you dont want to swap all the time. You dont wanna over charge a good battery either and burn it out.
