as for their mids and high i'm not real sure. i've never heard any of their higher up sets personally that i can remember but orion has a good reputation so they are probably fine.
I had an hcca 15 d2 and through a cone after only a week. I had the enclosure with sub and port facing the rear and evidently because of how the motors are build in the hcca's they are recommended for vertical firing. I was also running it 400 rms over but my gain was set to 4 volts only. I dunno maybe just unlucky.
