its fine i don't mind explaining stuff.

are you getting a box built locally or building it yourself?

also are you sure your electrical system can handle this much power drain?

Its a 2007 Aucra TL Type-S

And i was thinking of just making the back part of the trunk the chamber and make an enclosure

sorta like what they did in this vid

that seems like a lot of extra effort for something that didn't even look that good. i would just use a regular box with matching carpet color. its a trunk its not like its that important ya know? its totally up to you though its just my opinion. i like custom work but that particular install was not worth the effort.

and from what i can tell you have a 130amp alternator. whats your current battery specs?

well here's the thing. just the sub/amp will draw around 97amps from your alternator on average. your alternator only produces around 130amps at driving speeds so once you start using lights, heating, A/C, door speakers, head unit and whatever the engine requires to run etc you only have 30 amps left in the alternator to do all that which isn't enough. now once you use more than your alternator can produce you will start drawing battery power to run stuff.

a good battery can help in that situation but its recommended to just upgrade your alternator.

you will also need to do a big 3 upgrade with this much power being used.

having someone build a custom box is always the best option when its done right but premades are fine if you don't want to deal with the hassle of finding a good local shop and stuff.

your subwoofers tell you box size specs so look for a box that fits the specs.

mechman has 200 amp ones for around $300.

using the 1000 model will probably save you the trouble however.
