Sorry I'm so dumb when it comes to this stuff, haha.

They come as pairs, the 4 channel amp is meant just for the speakers (Each door = 1 channel) and the mono amp (1 channel) is meant for the subwoofers.

I'd get a better 4 channel amp though, like a P400-4 or a T400-4, the R400-4 is their least expensive series. When you go up in series you get better crossovers, better quality, and better sound.

i would suggest a 150-200 amp alternator. this might be as simple as grabbing a used one off a suburban in the same year range.

the rca wires go from the head unit to the amps then you run speaker wire from the amps to the speakers.

look into optima yellow tops for a battery.

the 4 channel amp is up to you but keep in mind a good battery is going to be $200 and the alternator is going to be $75-300 probably. i would call scrap yards about an alternator before looking into aftermaket to save money.

Probably will, all the 4.3 accessories fit onto the 305,327,and 350 vortecs so I don't see why theirs wouldn't fit on the 4.3. I think I might go snatch a alternator off a burb now

I'm not opposed to a better battery, but without upgrading the alternator, will this near-top of the line battery be worth my money invested?

optimas are always worth it no matter your situation. they last many many many times longer than old dry cell designs. they are a higher initial investment but you'll spend more replacing cheap batteries while the optima would still be perfectly fine that far down the line.

downgrading the subs is the easiest solution. right now they are loud enough to probably make you get out of your car at full strength.

finding a less powerful subwoofer setup isn't hard but if you could get your alternator information i could make sure its going to be fine.

Okay, being that I know nothing about cars, how do I know which battery to buy?
Where do I buy it from? (which website) - or do retail stores carry them?
I'll try to get this information in a few days, I don't have the vehicle here or I'd attempt to look myself, it's at my dads waiting to be fixed.
I'll have him take a look at it when I'm there next time.
The links to audioque never work and I have to search for the product based on the link description, that's annoying, lol.
Is there any reason why you chose that amp over an RF one?
I'm weird about brands and stuff, and I like to match the brands with each other, obviously I'm not going to say no to something just because of the brand, but it does bother me, haha.

AQ has the best amps for the money for the most part. for a similar spec rockford you are looking at $100-150 more because they are a mainstream brand.

we can always go with AQ subs if you feel like putting in more work for a custom box.

the only other thing you might want to consider is some new battery terminals to go with it. it will make it a lot easier when you do the big 3.
