That's what i'd suggest, to make sure it isn't a wiring issue.

Yeah I'm down to try anything. I've never had this happen to me before, not sure why this time it's not working.

The only thing I can think of is ground, but I had it in a good spot. I'm just gonna make a perfectly shiny spot until I can see my reflection and hope that's it.

if its not in protect mode chances are it isn't the ground.

Maybe it's the remote? Try bypassing the h/u with your remote wire.

I guess it was the ground. I cleaned/sanded a new spot, rewired the terminal cup on my sub (for the second time, I checked it already) and it worked.

So I'm assuming it was ground.
