yeah i plan on gettin a sub box. i assumed they are all closed/sealed. quick question though

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34856_Rockford-Fosgate-P2D2-12-11P2D212.html

that one is 2 ohm

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_33857_Rockford-Fosgate-P2D4-12-11P2D412.

and this one is 4 ohm

i know that ohm is the resistance in the wire. but does less ohm mean better quality sound?

some amps are max power @ 4 ohms

other amps are max power @ 2 or even 1 or half ohm

i bought the clarion cz501, but its not workin to its full potential. i had to get a wiring harness for my land rover 2004 discovery. and i wired it colour to colour. the fm/am radio works but the bluetooth, cd player, aux and usb functions dont work. itll read my cd/bluetooth devices but not play it through the speakers. i did a software update but it didnt fix the problem. i also checked on the heat of the head unit it was pretty hot, but it didnt smell like anything was melting. any one have an idea of what i can do to make it work properly?

You should probably redo the wiring. Aftermarket wiring harnesses do not always match up colour to colour. Look up a wiring guide for your vehicle from the http://www.the12volt.com/ then match up the wires to the labels on the wiring harness...hopefully you left them on...

went to the shop last weekend to get my headunit properly installed after i tried to fidget with it. all works well except for the memory. i think the memory wire is the yellow one with the fuse. cant really think of a reason why the memory isnt workin, but maybe the fuse is burnt out? can i use any ol' fuse to replace it?

thoughts any one?

take it back to that shop and tell them its not working right. have them fix it or get a refund.
