As far as low profile subs go, he's a big guy and needs all the space he can get which involves getting seats that are too low to allow for any room
And for cadallac and kookymunst thank you for the answers, only final question is, he wants the subs and amp to be visible through the box which means they have to face the rear is this going to create sound problems? (I know in car trunks you face them backwards for the sound to bounce off the trunk but does this hold true if you are using a thin piece of plywood/plexyglass?

Bandpass will be the only way to achieve this, but like kooky said above me it's going to be a lot more work and it won't sound as good.
