well you'd end up with pretty much same bass but pay more because of the larger box.

when it comes to getting the best bang for your buck you are better off doing 1 higher power sub than two lower power just to save money on the box.

ya the 12s jump up in price thats why i went with the 10. just not a very friendly budget you have to sacrifice stuff.

first box is way too small
second box is close but would need some polyfill. also tuned pretty high but he doesn listen to mixed music so probably be fine.

i'll talk to him and ask him about if he want a good warrenty or just a 'warrenty' on the sub, the box would work for him and the setup is ~297$
