we tried to get that thing out..got damn close, but there is one very small tab on the metal frame that's holding it in now..gonna take care of it tomorrow or wednesday.

It's not as simple as disconnecting, but it's still quite simple
and yeah bro if you already have an aftermarket in the car you don't need anything.
if you're replacing an OEM radio with an aftermarket you need harness, dash kit, and sometimes you need the antenna adapter.
and yeah I think the hardest part in replacing a headunit is taking out the dash on majority of the cars,,,
