he has these in his car already but he never bought an amp to make really push them to the limit

and since i have dual voice coils hooked up to the sail speakers, i can only hook up the low frequency part and not the tweeters


grab one of those kicker subs for the same price. no point in doing something goofy back there. once you have a good budget together redo the entire cars audio.

well the polks pull out some higher watts
and i like the clean sound of pulks with the music i listen too
friends and family have had really good experience with polk so ya

the polks u linked are 65rms the kicker 6.5 sub i linked is 150rms and its actually built to be a subwoofer.

the only problem, i purchased a 6.5" boston acoustic speaker 2 way and hooked em up with different sets of wires and produced no sound at all, so idk

pretty sure those are sub wires so their frequency is set below what the mids you tried will pick up.

i bought 2x of http://www.bazooka.com/products/mobile/Parts-C38/Component-Woofers-S116/WF641-5DV---6-inch-4-ohm-DVC-replacement-woofer-P264
bazooka dvc subs
i read on a lot of forums that these speakers were good replacements for the monsoon system
got 2x for $100 total
ill let u know how they sound when i finish installing them, i dont think they come with plugs so im just going to hve to solder the wires

installed them today and they thumpin without any rattling!
