on the other hand the light is usually red
i check the rc cables they were fine

i notice i get a tiny feedback from the sub like it wants to bum but it doesn't go high at all

When you put even pressure on the front of the sub and push in, do you hear cracking or feel rubbing?

voice coil? is that the actual sub?

check the ground wire when u started to bump it up real loud the bass could have knocked the ground wire around a little bit. it needs to be 100% secure or else the sub will not push out the bass.

and yes the amp light will still show its being powered because it is receiving power to the amp

getting rid of car, took out the sub radio amp
