ya its a little much but you can always tune it down. it leaves room for upgrades so thats always a bonus.

I dont think I will be upgrading it anytime soon. I have left my truck alone for the past 4 years.

what do you think about this

don't have any experience with hifonics amps but it looks okay and reviews are fine so should be okay.

yeah heard they do the job, sometimes you can get one that gives you problems since they were bought out a few years back.
but the amp in my truck is about as generic as you can get and it works just fine.

Get something a little newer. The 493 if a few years old. Get a KDC-x595 or a x695.

alrighty, thanks. I havent been keeping up on this stuff for awhile.
anyone got any advice on one 12 vs two 10's?

well the only problem is that i honestly dont think that a 15 in a box, would fit in my trunk

it likely wont dont listen to that virgin.

2x 10's are a great option. dont underpower them , shoot for 750-1000+ watts RMS youll be satisfied sorry i didnt read all of your OP
