grabbed 2 of these today, anyone ever heard these bad boys yet?

the 35hz low end turned me off tbh

i mean do you like them tho?

they are not spls like the xfl's which i have
they are more for music and sound quality.

i haven't heard them in person yet so i can't say. specs make them look kind of blah though but there isn't any real data released yet about their overall performance just the basics.

bob said the roll of is different than most of his subs and will hit the frequencies much better creating a more desirable musical tune. better reaction and control. i guess ill give it a shot im gunna get a box built for these and il throw some vids up. when everything is cmplete.
overall i dont think they can be any worse than the xfls. actually in terms of musical quality id probably say that they might even sound better. they might not hit the way spls subs do but id rather have nice hard bass that sounds more boticable better than spl bass

about a month since release i think. but yeah should be interesting to see how they sound since american bass has never been known for having a strong SQ goal.

well there really isnt any sound quality at 15 hz tho 32 htz is ideal for most applications i believe they will hit the 15's as well well see. the guy at my car audio store said he installed 4 of these in the back of a car and it blew the trunk off. the latch broke 2 times. and they welded a plate and put the latch there, but after that the pressure actually blew the hinges right off

plus there is a 40-60 day wait for the xfls to be back in stock. that also includes recones.

so i can always recone my xfls if i dont lie the way the xr12's sound

They look like solid subwoofers I know the XFL's slap hard and take tons of power. 35hz is actually pretty decent all around frequency which most people are tuned to.

You gotta get ahold of a ssa Xcon or zcon.

Yeah them xfls slap hard for sure. Just picked up these 12's put them in and played with me for a while. Can't crank it up to much yet but they sound solid. I have to adjust amp settings a little bit.

I Almost Bought Some Mats . But dude said he got these new ab 12's I was like Shit hook me up. Lol jll switch brands next time for sure. Not sure what else yet. I'm only running 3500 watts at the moment. Need a box built for these xr12's to make them come to life.
