So I ordered a 100 pound monster 15" EMF Ermagerd last week waiting for black friday to order a Sundown NS-1, 2 XS D3100s, 200ft of 2/0 wire, h/o alt and my rockford mids/highs and Alpine Sound Processor.

no im still wondering if i should chop off my arm now and just buy second skin. i plan on putting aluminium bracing on the roof with a layer of deadener over it. to stop the flex. going with custom doors so ill deaden those too.

you ever try out the soundqubed deadener?

i did a trunk kit with their stuff a while back but mostly people don't think im being serious when i tell them how helpful sound deadening mat is and they should buy it.

basically only reason i got that kit was because they were like "aww man that green and black would look way cooler than my plain metal trunk lid".

lol ill get deadener no matter what. second skin is just like outrageously expensive but works wonders. i could get fatmat but ive heard at -0 it falls off the trunk

and i plan on sealing it off at the trunk so that'll help with atleast 75% of the trunk rattle

deadener works wonders

Why 200 ft of 2/0? Curious to how much is used in a single vehicle. Or do vendors only sell in spools?

comes in 50 foot spools. so 100ft of power and 100 foot of ground. its a little over kill but that way i move as much power from the alternator/front battery to my rear battery bank. that ns-1 is 6500rms so it'll drain a hell of a lot of power especially running it at 1 ohm

so ill have like 3 runs of power and 3 runs of ground going from front to back. ill do the "big 3" which is when you upgrade the front grounds and the power wire coming from your alternator.

and 4 lengths of power wire and ground to the amp from my rear battery bank.

this is not necessary for your average system just 25 foot of 4 to 0 guage is good enough for your typical system.

I have an ermagerd motor in my garage since an idiot at slamology blew up 6 of them lol, $200 score... But i seriously hate those high roll surrounds with a passion lol..

And if you are near illinois i have 8 d3100s for sale, not shipping em though :banana:

Oh, I don't know much about audio, but I sell electrical supply and 2/0 is up there in price. Is it any different than thhn copper? Different jacket?
