i have an old datsun 620 ute.
its very limited for space and im looking for something with enuff boom to vibrate the knickers off any girl that sits next to me.
i want to hear her lips clap and watch her pull funny faces, and ultimatly leave a wetspot on the bench seat

is there any type of sub that i can fit under the seat that could be upto the challenge??
ive probably got no more than 150mm in height under the seat to play with or 200mm width (maybe more) behind the seat but tapering off as it gets higher
ive looked at the slimline all in one subs with amp etc, will this do the job?

i would avoid the all in one subs just because of the shared heat+they are very minimal in every aspect.

how much you looking to spend? you have enough room to do a standard shallow mount sub so that's the route you should take.

do you already have an aftermarket head unit?

your not gonna be able to do that with any sub under the seat. you maybe able to build a box that ports under the seat or some thing

what size and brand should i keep an eye out for?
im guessing an 8 or 10 inch would do the job? a 12 might be a bit too much?

is the box size different for a shallow mount sub? i can measure the dimensions i have to work with if this help

your not going to be able to get anything under a seat to accomplish what your looking to do... give up some space in the back and buy a badass sub. fi sp4, team fi, fi btl. ssa zcon or evil. tantric hd or hdd. orion hcca. dd95 or 99 series. incriminator warden or death penalty. just to name a few.

this is the ute, its now sporting an 6cyl rb30 and has the radiator in a box on the back because the radiator wouldnt fit in the front.

i can honestly say "their is no space to give up in the back" the only way i can get room in the back is to move the seat forward which is not gonna happen with my body size
i would love to fit something badass but there is no way i will be able to fit it, and im not looking at blowing out the back window.
im not looking to make this into sound car all i want is to fit a semi decent sub somewhere without adding too much weight, blowing my budget, and enuff boom to make a bitch wet.

e// im pretty sure theres more room under the seat than there is behind it.

i feal like havnt givin enuff information to answer my question properly.

i have a raspberry pi media center running xbmc with 1tb hdd (so far) wifi, bt, controlled via a tablet/phone and an old head unit ive converted as a pre amp
it has a dvd drive and various usb/aux inputs and is all behind the dash.
i can watch a movie or listen to music from the mediacenter in my car about 50 meters away from a smart tv, tablet, or my phone (or anything with wifi).
i will be investing in an equaliser when the time is right specifically for speakers and the sub/s
its also running a second raspberry pi with linux for gauges and so i can program my standalone ecu.
the aim was to keep everything hidden as much as i can

i did have 6x9's boxed behind the seat but the seat springs destroyed them.
my speakers were hidden under dash aswell (which was actually quite nice)

im looking for quality of sound and a nice "wet spot"
this is not a show car, it wont be entering sound offs, i dont want to weigh it down with heavy assed bulky subs that are too over the top that will never fit anyway.
im wanting something pleasurable, not something that will rattle apart.
