im only interested in answers relateing to the above amps only plz

flip a coin. reality is they are very very similar.

i like the mb quart models interface design a lot more than the hifonics. putting settings controls on top of the amp is just soooo much more convenient.

however the hifonics is cea-2006 compliant which is about the only thing i'd say it has an advantage spec vs spec.

crossovers are different but i doubt the difference is actually relevant to what you are going to use it for.

the hifonics has a remote gain knob option whereas the mb quart doesn't...again pretty much irrelevant.

if it were me i'd go mb quart since i have a fair amount of confidence in the power and signal quality ratings(same thing as cea-2006 compliance) and i very much prefer its layout and a bonus of it being more cosmetically appealing.

Both brands are good for the $. I have to agree with Subwoofer.

say i got 50rms front and 60 rms backs

would i hurt my front if i get a 60rms amp

what model speakers?

also those amps are 80rms@4ohms watts not 60 so now im confused.

not sure on the amp thats why im asking will a 60rm amp work


im trying to keep everyone under a certian power useage as in a low power system

ya i wouldn't worry about them. 60 should be plenty safe on those,

the reason i asked specific models is because if it was like $40 speakers then i would of said no lol.

np i learned a lot from this fourm that kenwood is a beast of an amp i can set it to 60rm from the fronts and 100rms for the back

but im still undecided these are the onlything left to get lol

i got the rest of it just trying to decided that to get

wth is with that kenwoods specs lol

2 channels have 60rms and 2 channels have 100rms.......soo weird.

its a dual amp in 1 chassis from what ive been reading
you can switch it also 100 rms front 60 back or you can do 60 rms front and bridge 300rms in rear for subs its a neat amp
