well i have 2 xfl 12's 2k watts a piece in the next cpl months im goin to end up upgradin my amp from a hifonics 3000 d to a american bass 150.1 and want to have a custom box built but i have no idea how to tune it. people have told me but its too complex for me to try and figure out i can cut and do everything else but doing all the math to find out the freq of the box just is not my thing. was wondering if anyone has ever made a box for a a pair of ab xfl 12's . or if anyone lives around the cleveland ohio area that can make one for me. or even direct me to a site that would possibly have custom boxes that are tuned to a certain freq already. thanks

negative , they are 2k watts max 1k watts rms. my friend has pushed 2500 watts easily into each one for a daily driver without any problems. they are power hungry subs.

well here it is, i got the dimensions of the box needed to be made for these subs from bob at american bass himself. just want to make sure these measurments sound correct and everything looks good. only thing i do not like about this box is that it only has 1 port maybe im doing something wrong here or not getting the idea of this box creator. but let me know what you think its for 2 xfl 12's

I would say that those subs need at least a 5 cubed box combined.. and I got a box that would work perfect I built for 2 fosgate t1s... 5 cubes @ 32 hz....I live in Cincinnati ohio... if u wanna road trip or I can build u a new one lmk

that would be a huge box lol. my trunk is rough estimate of 7 sq ft i believe , i cant go any higher than 16'' on height as it is goin to need to be able to be slid through the backseat of charger. and 5 cubes sounds a little too much imo, although there is a video on youtube this guy has these 2 same subs in a ported box at just over 4.5 cubes.
