if so don't go with 4. your air space is going to be lacking enough without throwing in 4 suibs just for looks.

why exactly?

i mean i guess if you had the budget and air space for 4 good subs on 2 good amps then whatever but unless you are planning an at least 2000rms watt setup its kind of a waste of effort.

you'd be better off with with 1-2 subs and 1 amp unless you are going with real power like i mentioned.

Actually the Discus is better than the Onyx old isn't always bad those were great amplifiers. and how is that $100? just one of the amplifiers alone go for more than that in that shape and he has 2 and 4 subs/box? Be nice to the guy thats a solid begginer setup if the price is right and if that box is SEALED it would be fine if he just wants a nice show/bump setup. Personally I would go 2 12's sealed though.
