I have a 12 inch fi btl n3 dual 2 ohm. looking for box specs.. cant find a solid answer anywhere. maybe u guys can help? gonna run it with a aq2200 for now and its goi g in the back of a 02 f250 extended cab. if anyone can help it would be awesome thanks.

confused if you mean the bed or if you are trying to fit it in the extended cab part.

feel like i should point out that you are probably going to regret getting the n3 for a daily use sub. mainly designed for spl/burping.

you're just going to have to cruise forums and check peoples similar setups. FI discontinued the btl series so i don't know where to find their official box recommendations for it.

yes in the extended cab part.... not gonna be a daily sub just extremely loud.. im just gonna build a monster box around 6 cubes and start there that way I can chop it down till I get the right sound

you sure you have the electrical system for this? 150 amps or is what that amp eats up so be ready for it.

and when you say "sound right" it worries me. these subs will never sound very good on music so if you are going to mess around with the box you are going to need to get a spl meter setup because thats going to be the only real way of seeing if your design is good or not.

and try not to use it for extended periods of time as its cooling system isn't designed for long term usage.

they surprsingly sound decent on music... not as good as a sq sub dont get me wrong but its not so horrible. I have a spare recone just in case as well.. but damn do they bang

6 cubes for a 12????????????????? :wallbash: On a sub that has a Fs over 55hz? The coil gap on those woofers is too tight and WILL coil rock. No more than 2-3 cubes and depending how your vehicle peaks i wouldnt tune it below 35-40z. On another note its a great sub, but it in a proper box and dont expect much of any lows but they will do very well on the high notes... I have six of the n2's they sound great and get low and are punchy as fuck but the n3's are even more peaky, These neos have too much motor force then they can handle thats why mine are sitting in the basement while i wait for my new subs to arrive...

I agree with kooky.. 6cu is for an 18" woofer, not a 12"

yeah but no one is sharing much info.. anyone think a 4th order bandpass tuned around 50 hertz would work?

n3s have a low qts not designed for a 4th but works if you match the sealed resonant frequency and the ported baffle frequency it will still be loud. Its not for a 12" spl sub though.... Get a low response 18 wait a few weeks Fi has a new woofer coming out, the new team fi subs i have my 4 ordered should be arriving soon. Im keeping the n2s until i do some drop in comparisons with the new subs but then they will be for sale. 3 motors and 3 subs
