so i noticed on different car audio sites where they sell those subs + amps package

like that:
Mutant MTSBP12 (sup+amp package)

my question is :

will a mono amp on 150 wrms (doesn't leave any info about rms/peak, just says monoblock 150W) be powerful enough for the subwoofer ?

sub:
175wrms and 350w max

20 fgs if some1 can explain :D since im totally new to car audio :)

Yes. sub is 175w and amp is 150w. It's a package deal that they picked out for you! Why wouldn't they match?

call me dump but can the amp really power up the sub? the 25rms missing might not be a big deal

the sub could be powered with 40 watts..it will just have reduced output. rms ratings are there to give you the most you should use not the minimum.

Yes it will work great, they put it in a package for people like you. So there is less thinking involved.
Just buy it and have someone install it.

got all wires installed + new speakers around (except for sub)

if i get this sub in a sedan and put the speaker towards the loophole in the backseat will it work? (notice the port on the box is on the side)

you'll wanna try it facing backwards and forward facing to see which works better for your car. there is no set way for facing a subwoofer and port it all depends on the vehicle.
