Looking at a dodge cummins.
2500 extended cab stacks.

Problems:
Blown Head Gasket
Bottom end problems
Need new Turbos
New fuel injectors
No tranny or transfer box

How much would you pay for this truck in this condition?

not really a dodge cummins when the engine is ruined and there is no transmission.

unless you are doing the repairs/replacement labor yourself this is not worth getting.

other than that how many miles on the body?

if you get a cummins get the 5.9L ... pretty sure thats a 6.7 there

its pretty much just a shell and wheels so i wouldnt pay much for it. and im not familiar enough with this kind of stuff to give you a figure in $, sorry.

Depends on who does the work on it/how much it's going to cost.
Probably no more than a few thousand... Like shard said, all you have is a shell and wheels.

Cummins is a good engine... But this thing has many problems, which could lead to more problems.

I say, Find a better truck.

Unless you plan on doing all the work yourself, I would steer clear from this (I'm assuming you can't or you wouldn't be asking here)

Buy a reliable car you like to get you from A to B

Don't go buy a car you think would be badass, that in good condition would be out of your price range, the headache isn't worth it

You will end up spending more money and be frustrated constantly

I could understand if they were smaller problems like a new belt and maybe a water pump etc..

But transmission, fuel injectors, turbo... this thing was driven like shit, and poorly maintained, and it shows

An old coworker went a bought a truck similar, had all the bells and whistles he wanted, but came with a few problems (not anywhere near this), biggest mistake he ever made in this regard

Less than $1,000. Repairs total around $8,000.. and that's low balling it. No telling what else will break when you actually get it up and running, suspension is also probably shot.
