Hey guys, this is my sound system as of now.
The bass completely overpowers the mids and highs, i love my bass and i want my car to scream

i am looking for ideas to bring up my mids/highs. looking for new speakers , i only have 2 speakers and 2 subs......

what would yall suggest of me doing, open to any and ALL ideas!!

(+) if it is alpine, but doesnt have to be
i am willing to buy a smaller cheaper new amp to run in addition.
willing to get a box of just speakers

!!! i do not need expensive top notch speakers, and bass does not matter on them as i will have it turned completely off/down anyways, i have subs for bass

To begin with I'd get 3-way door speakers, and buy a back set of 3-ways too.
Look into getting kick-panels for your car + good mids/tweets for them. The panels are around 200 for a set, the mids should be around 80-100 for a set, and the tweets are around 100 for a set.
Kick panels are the panels right when you open your door and step into the car, audio shops will custom make them with grills so the speakers are protected and install them in your car.
And finally.. bring down the levels on your amp so it sounds good, no sense in having the bass all the way up if you can't hear anything else.

I am only pushing 500w to each sub with 1500w rms. I love bass and I'm not turning down... I'm fully aware i can then them down lol

but, I have only 2 speakers to match 2 subs. that's why I want to buy more. I like the 3 way idea

I agree on amplifying your mids they give you a much cleaner and higher ceiling.
I got tired of mids that had either blown or worn out so i started using 8 ohm voice coiled mids for the simple fact they dont heat up as easily and are harder to overpower.
The deck that i use has an option with the crossover to run the front channels for tweets and the rears as mids and a switchable mono///stereo sub out, I highly recommend a deck capable of doing this,

have u checked out selenium or cresendo yet??

my buddy has selenium, i dont like the tone or how it plays at high volumes

ahh, I my self have jl 6.5s and alpine S 6x9's and they sound pretty crazy and have withstood plenty of punishment

UPDATE:

I want a recommendation for: What amp to get STRICTLY for speakers mids/highs. no subs.
I want a recommendation for: What type of door speaker/other internal speakers (possibly custom box) to get that are a bang for the buck (under $50 each) and can blast dont have to worry about blowing
