you can do it but you have to do it right.

separate enclosures and separate amps and making sure they are playing the same range of frequencies.

nah it would sound like ass... specially if they're playing the same range of frequencies.

I wouldn't do something like 10's and 12's together... and definitely not in the same enclosure, you're just asking for trouble there.

usually you would put the smaller subs on the higher notes and larger subs on the lows (edit: still in the bass frequencies though)
but I still wouldn't recommend it

i highly agree, it will end up sounding very poorly if not done 100% correctly and even then its just too much of a hassle...just stick with 2 12"s if you have the room and are unsure!!

don't bother then. either run them both sealed(simplicity sake) or both ported(this will take a bit of effort to get it all to not sound weird).

using 1 sealed and 1 ported will ruin the sound. you run ported for certain reasons and you run sealed for certain reasons and when you run them side by side it ruins all of those reasons.

Kid comes in, claims his own idea as the dumbest one ever, people agree with him, so he does it anyway.

Sense.

Makes none.
