Tell me the story!
I had one 12" MTX with a ripped surround in a small sealed box (with a blanket over it to help it sound not so blown) pushed all the way up against the back seat (facing forwards) because I thought the sound would go into the cab better that way lol.

a pair of jl audio 10w3v1's

foam surrounds eventually went out and i stopped using them.

i was such a nub...
it was 2009 and i have a 1985 lincoln town car.


i bought 2 12" xplods and a 2kw amp
a friend gave me thier sub box and i slapped it all into the trunk...



it was pretty loud... but short lived

my first sub was a speaker from my house in the trunk xDD... funny to think of the lame shit u been doing when u was a noob

my first real subs are 2x 10" rf p2's and their still banging on 4th year of daily abuse now

still using it anf got a 2nd one not used atm need another amp :lol:

First subs for my vehicles I ever had were a set of alpine type r 10's that I got for a steal a few years ago, just sold them about two hours ago for twice what I paid for them.

Started with a Rockford Punch 12" in a Sealed enclosure running off an XPLOD 800.4. Soon upgraded to 2 12" Rockford HX2's on a Sony XPLOD 1200.2 then I bought 2 15" Kicker Comps and ran them off an Alpine MRP-450 and then I got a Fi SSD 15" Stock and ran it off the Alpine then I got a PSI 18" Platform 2 and ran it off an AudioPipe 1500.1D and then I got 2 15" DC Level 3's with Level 4 soft parts and ran them off a DC 1.2K and then I got a Fi BTL N2 Fully Loaded 18" and I'm running it off a Crescendo BC2000.

Soon getting a second BTL 18" and a second Crescendo BC2000 to complete my substage.
