What is the Year, Make, and Model of the vehicle. 2003 ford focus zx5 (hatchaback)
What is your budget? no set budget, but i'd like to keep it less than 200 bucks for a head unit/amp/sub, if that's not reasonable, so be it, i'm not married to the budget but it's the driving force here.
What exactly do you want your outcome to be? (Good sounding music, or loud bass?) a little punch with my music, space is an issue, i would like to keep it small
And specific sub sizes that you prefer more than others? smaller is better, i once had a beast of a machine, and i lost my trunk for it, wasn't worth it imo.
How much trunk space do you want to use up? least possible.
What type of features are you looking for in a CD Player (aka Head Unit)? (Ex: USB, AUX, BlueTooth, etc) aux, nothing flashy, removable faceplate would be nice, would really like something that doesn't look like it came off a 30 dollar boom box, so something sleekish would be ideal, i don't like shit looking "tricked out"
What type of music do you listen to? all sorts, love some vocals, enjoy some electronic music, but i'm not looking to bass it out.
Is your stock stereo system amplified? (You may or may not know this) i don't know.
Do you have Steering Wheel Controls? (Volume/Seek on the steering wheel) i don't think so.. (just bought the car, if this affects things i can check)
at one point in my life i owned an MTX roadthunder 9500 12" sub with a 3 farad capacity, don't remember the amp but it was something like 2k. it was enough to set off car alarms, it literally tore my car apart too.
i'm not looking to replicate that, i'm looking pretty much for some punch to some of the music, and round out the rest.
