For the price:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_20195_Hifonics-BRZ12D4.html
for 60$
vs
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34766_Rockford-Fosgate-P3D4-12-11P3D412.html?SearchClickout[query_id]=11685415&SearchClickout[Ignore]=1
for 124$

would be price matching amazon so it would a little bit cheaper

then for the subwoofer box->
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.aspx?itemid=120422
would changing the dimensions of the box change what it's tuned to.
i'd assume it would thus i'm asking.

if it doesn't then would a basic box that has 1 cb. ft. work

i'd get a sundown e-series 12/15 or SSA dcon series 12 over that rockford sub.

i don't know much about hifonics subs so i can't really comment on if they are worth their price or not.

yes changing the dimensions will affect the tuning of any box.

I've never been a fan of hi-fi subs. And last I checked the 12" P3 is about the same price as the 15" P3, Why not go with 1 15" I have 2 15" p3's Never had a problem with them!

As far as the box dimensions go yes. Measure what room you have and gimme the outcome of what sub you bought and i post a cutsheet for you tuned to that sub

ideal box is easy to make and takes up a very small space, sub is ~125$ and box and materials is ~40-50
amp im having a problem finding, wanting to go with the p300-1 or kenwood to stick with my kiv bt-900
but prices keep going up every day
was ~130 for the p300-1 a few days ago
