I agree trunk builds are almost always best firing forward sealed and I've noticed cars LOVE low tuning with big boxes and so do the SKARs. I've hear 2ft^3 tuned to 32hz with the 10's.

I was planning on it for my next setup. Probably gonna go with some SSA Xcon 10s or some custom built 10s from SPLAudio on the car audio forums. I had a custom tc9 15 built from him, 2000w rms, 3" 8 layer coil, sub got loud and sounded great, but it got stolen from me :/



Yeah the skars do nicely on the lows. I just went with the package deal from Skar and got a box from them and it does me well. Their builder sucks ass though lol, box performs well, the building job is meh.

I'm actually having Corey over at SPL recone my 18" into similiar specs how much did you pay?

I paid $320 shipped for the complete sub. He supplied all the parts and built it for me. Pretty good price imo, $320 for a 2000w RMS SQ sub

It should be a lot cheaper for you since you are already supplying the subwoofer.

Yeah obviously haha I wouldnt pay 350 for another custom sub not after PSI fucked... me also never really watched the video until now there should be A LOT more flex than that off 2000+w and 2 VVX's hell my 15's off 800w get more flex than that plus the box is tuned low so what gives? Not bashing your system flex is bad and maybe you just dont have much but damn my jeep looks like its falling apart lmao.
