can i plug it into the red wire? or yellow wire off my headunit? as my headunit dont have a blue and white (remote) wire.

or do i plug my remote wire into the regular blue wire off the headunit?

remote wire is a solid blue

solid blue = antenna light

blue + white stripe = remote wire

but anyways, i sold my deck now gonna go buy a deck w/ the sub output

Plug it into the switchable wire (Usually Red) and it will work. And if your headunit because it doesn't have a "Sub output" you could just use the rear out and use the low pass filter and crossover on your amp to block out the mids/highs.

He would be better off buying a Inline converter for this and wire it into his rear door speakers, you need a curtain preout to even make your subwoofers move.

Most cases when they just have front and rear rca's out, the rear is rear/sub correct? At least my HU I had before had a rear out and it worked just fine. Just tuned the crossover and filter on the amp and it hit clean

ok nvm I was confused... lol had to re-read what you said a few times... if a headunit has rear/sub then on the headunit there should be a filter for the subwoofers you shouldn't even need crossovers. I personally would never use regular REAR for my subwoofer as the output is so weak, basically you NEED rear/sub or sub-out the rear/front are designed for your doors.
