im flexible to spend a little more ( around 100 more) on the amp, lego!

The CVR series is not all that bad if your going budget build.
The price on those is actually a hell of a good deal, so i so its a go.


Everything else checks out. Box is tuned at 45hz so thats a decent number for 2 12's.


Amp looks good in terms of watts. Quart are slightly over-rated, but you will clamp at 450x2ish if your at 1ohm
this is how your going to want to wire it for 1 ohm.

those Kickers are muddy sounding and you can get better frequency response.

Can also whip up a cut sheet for a box if you want.
Prefab boxes are always tuned way to high.
I usually try to tune within 2 hz of the subs resonance

Love my cvrs.

Some people who are skeptical about smooth lows say they do sound scrappy.

I personally don't like them but thats just me.

just for the record yes i do love pioneer but i ran the same series but it was a set of tens in a sealed box for a 12 hour road trip on 1800 rms and they only bottomed out on 2 songs.
i was intentionally trying too blow them and when i got home they had no smell and ran just fine.
pretty good if u ask me.
Oh btw the best heat resistant technology for any electronics is japanese XD

They aren't a very smooth sub but the lows aren't bad.

so i was looking at the Cadence XaH1200Db but sold out damn. any other amps like that 1200?
