i have a 2009 cobalt ss when i idle and slow down my music gets really quite when i go it get louder when i floor it and power-shift it sounds about where it should be.. need a bigger capacitor, alternator, new/bigger battery?

Go into your radio settings. Idk what its called but as you drive. Higher rpms tells the radio to get louder.and as you slow down. It gets quieter.
It's under your hu settings. Go into settings and look around.

most alternators put out most of their amperage at 2k + rpms. Alt could be going bad if its not charging properly at idle. Check it with a dmm

when my mom had her cobalt it was doing th eexact same thing lol

Thats pretty effed up. Some poor soul has probably crashed because they slowed down and turned up the volume and crashed while distracted. Genius feature.....
