Have you done the big three and what kind of amp and battery do you have as well as the make of the car. some suvs have decent alternators sometimes.
hmm the mayhem alphas are ok but avoid the others.
i wouldnt trust the 1500 rms on one at all
for around 200$ you can get a alpine type r, or a RE sex 15
make sure u know what ohm load ur amp is capable of.
if its 2 ohm stable get dual voice coils with 4 ohm loads
it its 1 ohm get a dual 2 ohm.

Come on Beau you know better than that D: dude for $200 you can get a SA-15,SKAR 15", Obsidian 15" that will take about 1000-1500w daily on good/decent electrical.
a Type R or RE SEX 15" WILL NOT take 1000-1500w daily.

Yes they will. I had my old ones running at 750 each when they were rated for 500 each. Never even smelled like they were melting.

The new 15's are rated for 750, so they will take 1k with ease.

I would take this guys word on anything audio related... He thinks a lot of crazy shit can be done that can't.
Stay far away from Type R's if you want to run anything over-rated they will not take 1k daily and especially not with ease.

Thanks man ;)

I ran 750 per 12" Type R on the 500rms versions for almost 2 years without problems.

HAHA my buddy that lives down the street runs a 12" Type R in a custom box tuned to it and I tuned his system with a DMM @ 28.28v @ 2 ohm to run 500rms off his MRP-500 all new setup and it started stinking when I turned it up. I will get a damn video of it I swear so you will stfu.
