I'm looking to buy the re Audio xxx 15 inch sub. 3000 Watts 1500 rms.
Is this sub underrated or overrated?
Quality of the sub?
Amp suggestions.
Power supply suggestions.
Running a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse 3.0 v6.
Box suggestions. Ported or sealed.

Looking for a solid conversation. No flamers etc.

I'm heading to bed.I hope to see good reviews of this sub and great

where are you getting 1500rms? XXX series is 2000rms.

they XXX series is pretty good quality.

AQ2200d amps are $429.

ported allows the sub to work more efficiently.

you'll need at least a 200 amp alternator, big 3 upgrade in zero gauge, high efficiency battery terminals, zero gauge amplifier wiring kit, optima yellow top main battery, high flow battery terminals.

adding a power cell is only necessary for irregular like if your setup uses far more power than an alternator would allow for or for some reason you listen to it with the car off.

Mx15d1 I looked up said 3000/1500rms. Am I mistaking. I eebay all day cause I deliver pizzas on weekends and late nights.

thats a MX series not a XXX series.

why would you get 1ohm dvc sub anyway? .5 ohm is unpredictable on all but the most expensive amps.

and what are you doing for your interior speakers? you won't hear anything but bass without good upgrades to your mids and highs.

also keep in mind RE audio is fairly overpriced.

dual 2ohm. then it will be a 1ohm amplifier load.

XXX will probably be around $600 though and there are plenty of alternatives out there.

I had 2 xxx 18's. It would be too much for my Eclipse. IT would cost me way too much to buy the right equipment to safely run those 18's.
I also mentioned that I sold them for 800$ each.

Like I said once before. I buy and resell a lot.

You do realize the 18s go for 1-2 grand, right?

I sold them for 1600$. I paid 1400.
