I will be running 2 15 inch subs pushing 3000 Watt by 1500 rms a piece
In my car. I am looking for some links and suggestions to the best power cell and
battery monitors. 300-700 amp power cell? Also ill need to run 0 gauge wire to power my amps
but I'm sure the 0 will not fit the terminals. Suggested wire is 4 gauge but that might not be enough
To run them. Let me know asap. Email me or reply here.
Thanks. Walkingkillcam@Gmail.com.
I only have My cell phone to check email and replies.
Thanks!!!

have you already upgraded your alternator? you are going to need at least a 250amp alt to keep up with the power draw.

as far as the power cell you are going to need something with around 100-150AH(amp hours) to keep your voltage steady.

have you done the big 3 upgrade yet? if not you will need to do it.

Nope. I've just goofed with subs never went the full distance to set it up right. I honestly have
no clue what the big 3 is

I'm getting an eclipse either 2000-2005 I will
Upgrade the alternator. But I will only be running the system for very little time. Only when
all the kids come out in the summer time that bump their subs that mommy and daddy paid thousands for.
I pretty much want to run this system an hour a day maybe and still
have good battery power.

mind giving me model info on amp and subs?

if its a true 3000rms system even a few minutes on a improper electrical system is going to be trouble. batteries are backup power and everything really relies on alternator output to work properly.

big 3 is basically replacing Battery negative to chassis, Alternator to battery positive, Chassis to engine wires with larger more efficient wiring.

I already had quantum. Its a strong sub. Took months to blow over powering it by 1000 rms.

The thing is if you buy these brands you are actually getting less than half the stated power. That sub blew well under the claimed rated power if you were using one of these offbrand amps. For god does they used unlabeled fuses in the amp just to keep you from doing the math to show it can't possibly get to the power it claims.

You don't need to upgrade anything because the reality is that amp is junk.
