So I'm an avid audiophile and I love competing... I'm on a ton of sites including CA.com, CACO.com, SMD.com, D4S.com just to name a few. I've been doing this for about 5+ years now and I have learned a lot of the years. Recently I was informed d2jsp has a Car Audio section as I never went to the off-topic section to find out myself. Well I'm here to make an introduction and to help you guys out as much as I can... I feel from reading these threads that I have a lot of knowledge to provide. I'm 3x Champion of NESPL legal bass racing and street. If you guys have ANY questions don't hesitate to send me a PM.

Finally, a good thread. Those DC amps are known to push out even more than 1200rms. Badass setup, but please ditch the Sony.

Haha yeah I hear that good setups are a rarity but mines still a work in progress and far from finished as usual I want A LOT more... and yeah they do my DC does 1600@ 1 and 1900@ .5 but I tuned it with a DMM to run 1200w as my electrical doesn't like much more than that. and if you re-read (not being an ass.) I stated that I was running a Kicker KX600.4 and sent it for repairs so the XPLOD was a temp loner amplifier. I will be running an ONYX 1000.4 when I have time install it and I will be running the KX600.4 to my 4 tweeters.

I'm actually selling this system and getting 2 DC Level 3 M2 18's and running them off a DC 3.5K I'm just waiting for weather to change since I don't have a garage to work in and I'm waiting to sell some of my equipment. I will post up in the next few months as things start to change.

Also heres some of my old setups and a video of Exo and my friend at a competition me and Exo are pals and we live about 30 minutes from each other:

And EXO and my boy tyler @ sanford sound last summer I did his whole setup including the box etc. me and exo are good friends and live in the same county

^He said he made the box himself but he was referring to it not being a pre-fab I'm the big goofy guy that was talking and was right outside the car

Well actually it was only 800rms in all of the videos except for this one because this was 2 days ago... This is like twice as loud as when I competed and twice as clean. My alternator brushes had dirt in them and I was seeing like 11.5-12v even when driving since then I've bought a new alternaor and a bigass battery and it's night and day I'm expecting a 146 off the same setup and a 148 when I build my new box tuned to 38hz outta birch. The way I set it to 800rms was obviously with a dmm @ 28.28v but now I have it set @ 36.64 which is a little more than 1200 but with impedance rise and all the other factors/variables it's nice to bring it up a little extra.

Pioneer and Kenwood are on par for quality I just prefer my Pioneer for speakers and headunits not too bad on their 4 channels eigther. But I'm going to be switching all of that out soon though for some better speakers as soon as my new 4 channel comes, going to be running 8 6.5" AA Carbon Fibers @ 125RMS a piece and 6 supertweets off a 4 channel @ 60rms each. Should be good on my mids and highs after that.
