Retiring my '94 ford probe for a '11 dodge charger this weekend and I want to have quality sound comin out this bitch so I need a good pair of subs and a amp. I'm willing to spend 400-500 dollars on the two.

I might also need to replace the factory speakers and I'm aware of this. I'm not sure what kind of speakers they comes with they might be alright i dont know, but I'll worry about that a little bit later..
What do you guys suggest?

If its quality sound that you want, you're going to need to replace and amp the speakers as well, along with a new head unit.

this speaker here had quite a few thumbs up reviews..but they are a cheaper sub and i know you get what you pay for but if its quality sound at a lower price, hey what the heck..

i would go for the p2/p3's subs instead of prime

had 2x10" p2's for 3.5 years now, playing max volume for several hours every day and they still bang like champs

ya i was looking at those too..they look like really good speakers and are pretty affordable imo
do u have a ported or sealed box ? the subs i got now are in a sealed box..but im thinkin about getting a sweet ass ported box to put them in

the p3's look pretty nice tho i might get those

i mostly listen to rap music so i need the subs to hit high and low frequencies clearly without distortion
these speakers here dont seen to have much of the range compared to others speakers ive looked at

for example the p3's im currently looking at freq rang is 43-350hz
vs.
the kickers which has a freq range of 25-500hz

i run into this issue atm with the subs i have in my car..it doesnt hit on certain frequencies rather when the sound too high or too low
its weird and it pisses me off idk if its the speakers or the amp or what..

I've personally never liked Punch's. They've never done me good.
I've had 2x 12" Kicker CVX's with a JL Audio amp. Never been more satisified with spending ~500

If you're looking for quality sound, don't get kicker.
