you would need the ph-4000.

the cheapest sundown amp that would work is $815

a good brand 2000rms@1ohm amp is going to cost a lot more than those subs deserve.

have you already prepped your electrical system for that much power?

im not trying to run a constant 2000 watts into these subs tho.. dont want them gettin killed in a year. i play my music loud i couldnt go with a ph 2500 and get a 1250 rms into each one? turn up the power and get a little bit more? have you seen what those subs do to a car? whole door will be flexing and doin the wave.. not trying to power those things all the ways like that

and i have a extra marina battery

You need to run what they're rated at
and when you see that in videos its usually the camera just getting fucked up by the bass
and youll need more than just "another battery", there's so much more you need to do before even thinking about adding a battery.

the 2500 would only throw 625 rms to each one at best. this is going to cause voice coil overheating most likely since its enough power to get it hot but not enough power to keep the subwoofer moving enough to cool it.

rms rating is there so you can get an idea of normal operating power which is crucial to it working properly.

batteries are back up power and won't help anything other than cost you money. you need to upgrade your alternator(unless you have a 200amp or higher alternator already) and do a big 3 upgrade in zero gauge wiring.

I feel that there are a lot of unpleasant surprises involved if you do not take advice.

You have a lot of misconceptions about what you're trying to do.

ya it was a very bad idea from the start. 2000rms out of the gate with zero knowledge of car audio is a very bad idea especially getting bargain bin stuff.

you end up spending as much on support mods as you did on the speakers and amps.

Ive heard an american bass 400.1 sounds good, never heard their subs. Amp depends on what coils you got on the subs

Are you guys referring to American Bass XFL's or American Bass in general are "bargain bin" or not "rated"? Because the XFL's are really nice woofers and can take more than rated. and the American Bass PH-2500M is an awesome amplifier unfortunatly it doesn't do 2000rms is only does 1250. I'd recommend looking into DC as they have a really nice 2.0K that costs about $620 shipped or you could get the DC 1.2K and a battery/Big III and get about 1600RMS out of it. Those subwoofers will take it all day. I also agree though running 2k+ watts is NOT smart when you're as uneducated as yourself in car audio. By the way I'm DC sponsored so I know my shit when it comes to DC ;D
