a friend had this alpine set of speakers, that blew my mind, i know nothing about sound system but what would it cost, and what would u recommend

good quality on a budject, ill be trying to get them used, but willing to buy them new if its good price

used car audio is a bad idea unless you know the person you are buying them from.

need to know a $$ estimate on the budget
wanting subwoofer(s) correct?
what type of music do you normally listen to?
do you have an aftermarket head unit installed? if not what kind of features are you wanting?

i would say 50-500

no, i have literally just the default system, which all needs be replaced

well heres how it is.
for speakers and okay head unit its going to be $300
if you want even a single good subwoofer/amp setup its going to be $400 minimum for sub/amp/box/wiring

so $700-ish if you want a good sub. if you don't want much bass we can get the price down but its up to you.

i found out what my friend had and i was trying get similar set up

2x 10tens with a box and rockford amp
the amp pushes like 1500 watts
1x 15 would do or 1x 12 with a big amp, but 2x tens for best sound

well if you want good subs its going to end up at $718 with a single sub.

My stock protege speakers were absolute crap, you're gonna love listening once you've replaced them.
