Im not sure if i have the 4-ohm or the 8-ohm, but i have 2x 12" kickers that look like this:

they are in an enclosed box and wired to this amp:

i even got the little bass control knob hooked up to it

they wiring is done like this:


too be honest, the sound is okay. hits hard one some songs, but it doesnt rumble on the low notes to well
also if two different low sounds are being produced at the same time, the effect is almost a pain to the ears
i got the sensitivity and bass boost turned up to the point if i turn either one any more, the speakers would be too loud and distorted
i have it turned on low pass with it turned all the way up to 90hz

im really not to savvy when it come to car audio. what do you guys think of my setup? is it okay or do you guys have any reccomendations?

well they aren't really the best subwoofers for reproducing LOW freqz, but if u turn your amps low pass down around 45 hz it should help abit

it would be louder if u bridged the amp and run woofers in series or parallel, but im pretty sure the woofers would be getting over powered (not positive wut your amp puts out at ohms)

what kind of speakers would be better than some kickers

and what does it mean to run wires to the speaker in a parallel manner

without knowing for sure which model you have you can't do anything. find out if they are the 8 ohm or 4 ohm model.

i dont have the box they game in or anything

it will tell you on the back of the magnet structure. it will say 07C128 or 07C124

gahh so that mean ima going to have to take out the speaker from the box
im prone to accidents i dont want to break/medss anything up
