1: What is the Year, Make, and Model of the vehicle.
99 honda accord (coupe)
2: What is your budget?
~300$ (subwoofer, box, amp *wiring kit if included* )
3: What exactly do you want your outcome to be? (Good sounding music, or loud bass?)
guys says he wants to be able to hear and yet feel the bass
4: And specific sub sizes that you prefer more than others?
10 or 12
5: How much trunk space do you want to use up?
shit load of space, doesn't matter
X
7: What type of music do you listen to?
anything under the sun
8: Is your stock stereo system amplified? (You may or may not know this)
i havent checked with the guy but on an off note: (guy is running his system off a pioneer headunit soon to be dual, factory speakers)
X

This guy is looking to spend ~300 on a system he can both feel the bass and hear the bass
he's going to buy the wiring kit via walmart if its an 8g amp or one off here, or one w/ an amp if it has a deal with it
i was talking to him, he was debating with 1 vs 2 subs, i suggested to get a 12" sub, amp, and then some speakers to fit his car and it would be ~300$
i suggested a 12" cvr with and amp ex. kenwood 1k watt, box i'm still trying to find lol

was almost going to suggest a setup like:

walmart kits cost too much. you can get a good kit online for $27 and walmart cost $50 for scosche crap.

the problem with the cvr is they have been discontinued(the silver cheaper ones) and sonic has already stopped selling them individually idk about other places.

has he already replaced the head unit?

i was talking about the ~20 dollar 8g wiring kit, seems to be better then most of the 15~35$ wiring kits ive seen

i'd be talking about amazon, and im more or less saying a subwoofer like that one

was the one i was talkin about
he is going from a pioneer headunit to a dual radio because the pioneers faceplate melted and isnt staying together correctly, and hes paying 40$ for the radio, i would of sold him my sony because i knew for a fact that thing was worth it, he's be buying the radio in about 3 weeks, i'm gonna try and look for a radio also on here

compvrs are about the best thing i can figure for his budget. i don't know of anything else in that price range that i would choose over them.

this is probably what i'd do with this budget

ya, box i'll try to research on eeebay because i know you can save ~20$ just looking on there, but atleast its only 50 vs the typical 80$
and for the wiring kit how good of wire is the installbay?
also, i know of a place in town that is selling dual subwoofer boxes w/ ~1cb. ft. chambers for only 25$
i've seen 10" not sure if there are any dual 12", just saying

its pretty good for the price i used it on my last install with no problems. i used the 60amp fuse version not the 100amp anl though.

sonic is authorized by kicker now so the sub would come with a valid warranty if you care about such things.

their sub boxes look pretty well built but i've never ordered one myself.

if you skimp on materials you can cut the cost down a lot of places with stuff like that are usually poor quality. not always but usually.
