Currently using two amps to power my 12" Type R's, and would like to sell them and buy a single amp.
Right now I'm using one KAC-8704D and one KAC-8705D. This is giving me the perfect wattage, but I want
to get away from Kenwood and save some space.

I'm thinking I want about 1200W RMS total, willing to wire down to 1 Ohm to achieve this. Price must be under $200.

I'm guessing HiFonics or Audiopipe? Let's see what you guys can find.

edit:They're the 500 RMS ones.

Awesome, thanks. I wish they had a 1200 version for like $20 cheaper though. $180 would be the optimal amount.

Cheapest/best option.

Run ~1500 rms to them. They'll love it.

That's insane man. The AP18001D is still under $200 and pushes 1,100 RMS at 2 Ohm.
