well beryllium is used in several industries including computer electronics, so im sure they have found a way to block alphas from reaching u. Otherwise u would be poisoned, simply by sitting in front of a computer.
And from what ive as long as u dont touch it or breathe the oxide from it u should be fine. So dont let ur $5k speakers rust
there is no damn way i'd keep that stuff around me in a car especially as part of a speaker that gets vibrated all the damn time. just doesn't seem close to worth it to have something so toxic around you when you could be in a wreck that would shatter the cone and leave you in a small air space full of the particles.
just way too much bullshit to worry about for sound quality....not to mention the damn price.
