Friend has an amp that has a LP/FULL/HP
where you can choose from all three, it seems to work on full and high, but when turned to low nothing comes from the sub, could this be because of the solder inside the amp? I'm working off an iPod currently because our Internet is having problem hard to research this. Supposedly it happened one day when he was listening to his music....

If u tested 3 amps all on the same sub. Then yes I would say probably a bad solder joint on the amp somewhere
