Getting an 06 Scion TC tomorrow. Is the system in those good? Or what would be a good alternative to add for better quality?

replacing the stereo is as important as replacing the speakers.

what kind of budget you have for this?

I own a tc the stock system isn't horrible...but it's stock.

toyota has really shitty sound systems, unless u get the jbl system on them and those still are mediocre.
but I could be completely wrong, only one of my friends own a tc and his is completely aftermarket.

I hate the way the jbl systems sound personally.. But scion doesn't offer a jbl option. Imo the stock scion system doesn't sound horrible, but like I said it's still stock equip. You can almost never expect to much from a stock system.

Depending on deck, some Double Dins will fit in right behind that little door that covers the cd player. Its pretty cool.

You need the metra adapters to fill the gaps but(dont know the model #)But yea they usually fit pretty good

Yea we put an Eclipse AVN726E into one back before Eclipse stopped their car audio production. Looked great.
