When i drive I like to play my music loud. When i turn my radio up above 50 (it goes to 70) The speakers cut on and off. I changed radios and it isn't that. When the radio turns off after it is too high. I smack the passenger door and it pops back on.. Does anyone know how to fix this?

have you checked all your wiring?

Yes it doesnt seem like any were pulled apart or anything

The factory amplifier would be my guess without any further info.

Gotta be a loose wire...my guess is if there is no factory amp, the radio is probably putting itself in protect. But I would also double check my ground make sure it's a good solid chasis ground

He said swapping out the deck did not help.

How do you know he didn't swap it out with the same radio? Pioneers willput themselves into protect if they overheat, same with kenwood.

He also mentioned when he hits the door it comes back on. Could be a loose wire in the door on the speaker causing the deck to go into protection mode.
